In the Sarangapani temple the Lord is dressed as THAYAR and the NACHIAR is dressed as Perumal. it is followed only in the Sarangapani temple the reason behind this is unknown.
Also another special feature is just above the first floor, all around the tower is the depiction in granite of the 108 dance forms. above them is a depiction in Sanskrit the respective mudra forms a feast to the eye.
