 Tiruvasiriyam begins with a taniyan composed by Arulala PPerumal Emberumanar a disciple of Sri Ramanuja. here he says we have to do managalasasana  with utmost regularity to Nammalvar in a very special meter called Asiriyappa, it elaborates Veda Sastra. The title Parankusha is first employed in this taniyan. Pillai Loka charya explains the necessity of the Lord's personification in this world and his embodiment is the main goal to get liberation.

The seven hymns in this prabandham underlines the narration of Sriman Narayana's Divya Mangala Vigraha, particularly Trivikrama avtara where the Lord's beauty is unmatched.

There are only seven hymns in this Prabhandam narrating the lords unmatched beauty in the Trivikrama avtara.

The doctrine is to explain the word Narayana in the Tiru mantra. 

Perivachana pillai says that Nammalwar used to like to see the divya mangala vigraha of the lord, the keerita of the lord is so dazzling like a thousand suns, he is the three fold cause of the universe. His Vigraha is such that Bhakti grows in a person by just viewing his image.

This is the smallest but very important work.
