We learn best when we know our own needs. Knowledge and skill give more options and allow us to live fuller lives shaping events rather than simply reacting. Most of what we know in life was not learnt in school or college or formal education but we do learn in a whole lot of ways.
Developing life skills will enable us to adapt to change and live fuller lives satisfying and rewarding, which in turn will benefit the community we live in.
Two types of transition;
Well Transition the dictionary meaning - Passage from one stage of action or subject or set of circumstances to another. its a period during one set of style is developing into another.
The psychologist's definition;-In the ongoing flux of life, man undergoes many changes. Arriving departing growing declining achieving failing etc every change involves a loss and a gain. The old environment given up and new accepted. People come and go one job is lost another begun. territory and possessions are acquired or sold, new skills are learnt the old abandoned. expectations are fulfilled or hopes dashed. thus in all of this one mode of life is given up and another accepted.

Graph your changes by thinking ten years backwards and write down answers to some simple questions.
say how you spent your day who your friends were what you did with time the clothes you wore the music you listened to the program you watched the friends you hung out with.
jot them down. do the similar exercise with what you wish to do ten years hence. You now have three sets of data to compare including of course the present state you are in. It becomes evident then to get a birds eye view of where your life is leading you you could may be decide to change course or make relevant changes if required.
Major life events, challenge and stress. will almost certainly create a stimulus or shock in the life system.
example each one of us goes through school, perhaps parents moved house or split up, friends and relatives come and go, your adolescent, body changes relationships, boy friend girl friend, exams college work, unemployment, marriage partner flats houses new job new town loss. consciously or unconsciously we all face the above changes how we have coped with them lessons learnt.
now graph your changes Positive and negative. you will learn life's lesson from this page become aware. and you could choose your future course.
