I believe there are 3 ghatikachalams.
THIRUKADITHTHA:NAM
among the Malaya:la Divya Desams, Thirukkadirhtha:nam is an absolute wonder Adhbutha Narayana Perumal resides here with mother Kalpakavalli in Punyakoti Vimanam.
Nammalwar sang the glories of this deity. If a prayer is offered here, even for a ghatika, 24 minutes, amazing results occur. So wonderfully abundant is His grace hence this temple came to be known as Thiru kkadi ththa Nam.
Sage Narada wanted to test the righteous king Rukma ngada. Upon sage Naradas arrival, Rukmangada welcomed him with a flower garland. The exotic fragrance from flowers surprised sage Narada, who informed Indra. To acquire these flowers Indra secretly sent his servants but they were captured and presented before the king who advised them to take the flowers, but not to try to steal them
Indra,s men lost their power after they were captured the only way they could return go Indra,s kingdom was with the punyas transfered from someone else,s ekadasi fast.
Around the same time on Ekadasi day the wife of a Washerman had'nt eaten as she was angry with her husband. Interestingly performing Ekadasi vratha intentionally or otherwise, delivers the same results. The king pleaded with the lady to transfer the results of her unintentional pious act to Indras subordinates, enabling them to return to their abode. Realising the power of observing the Ekadasi vratham, the King himself began following this practice and was granted the ultimate goal of attaining moksha.
It was also in this place that Madri immolated herself at the pyre of her husband king pandu. Sahadeva their son, prayed to Adbutha Narayana to grant moksha to his parents.
It is believed a woman's prayer here bestows a long shared life with her husband. Let's pray here for the mercy of this deity and practice Ekadasi vratham.
O:m Kati sttha:na Pura va:sa:ya kalpaka valli: same: tha:ya adbutha na:ra:yana:ya namaha.
Just like this we too paid our sincere prayers at the 108 divyadesham perumal at the Ramanuja Charya equality statue temple complex built by our Chinna jeeyar Swamy and feel abundantly blessed.
