Antas srita ananta duranta vasana
dhuli vilipta paramatma vasana
prajnati sangharsanato visuddha
pratiyate candana gandhavat sphutam.
But that sandalwood fragrancel comes not without friction in water. So all the desires that are within have kept the desire for the real covered with dirt and dust. When you have cultivated that desire for the Self, which is hidden in you, it comes up like the odour of sandalwood.
Ativa suksmam paramatma tattvam
Na sthula drstya pratipattum arhati
samadhina tyanta susuksma vrttya
jnatavyam aryair ati suddha buddhibhih.
so very very subtle is the truth of the paramatma, that nobody can see that with the naked eye. Therefore with keen perception and only in samadhi can it be known by a great and very pure intellect.
Atlanta vairagyavatah samadhih
Samahitasyaiva drdha prabodhah
Prabuddha tattvasya hi Bandhan muktih
mukti atmano nitys sukh anubhutih
Samadhi comes to him alone who is full of the spirit of renunciation. Those who practice samadhi become established in the understanding of Brahman, and from that established understanding comes the freedom from all bondages. One who becomes free from al bondage feels eternal Bliss.
