18 days 18 forms how lucky.

Once Gopralaya muni who was performing tapas in the Meru mountains desired to see the Lord as Krishna in his different leelas. In response to his austere penance God appeared before him and asked him to go to Thillai Thiruchitrakutam and offer prayers to him there and that he would fulfill his wish there. accordingly the rishi went to Thillai had his bath in the Pundarika puskarini and prayed to the Lord. God is said to have appeared on 18 days in his 18 forms dipicting the various Krishna leelas. thus the rishi saw the Lord as Kalinganarthana, as Poothana vadham, as Govardhana Giri dhari, Varaha roopam, Narasimha roopam, Trivikrama roopam, Parasurama roopam, rama roopam, seeing his various avtara roopams the Rishi prayed to the Lord to be ever present as Venugopala with four hands and with the company of Rukmini and Satyabhama with him. thus today we have the Lord in the Archa form as Venugopala with Rukmini and Satyabhama at his side.

lava and kusha.

At Thiruchitra Kutam Lava and Kusha had the darshan of Rama and Sita in their Pattabhisheka pose. Once when the brothers Lava and Kusha were ruling Ayodya they performed the Asvamedha yaga. as per a requisite of the yaga a horse is let loose and the entire area where it roams without any obstacles or hinderance or restrictions is considered to be the area over which the person performing the yaga will have complete unquestioned suzeranity.
the horse let loose by the two brothers reached Thillai Thiruchitra kutam. the princes also had their bath in the pundarika saras and worshiped Govindaraja. they prayed to have the vision of their parents at the time of Pattabhisekam coronation form. the Lord conceded and he appeared before them as Chakravarthi thirumagan along with Sita and Maruti. In return it is said that the brothers recited the Valmiki Ramayana and thus enabled God to hear his own story through the songs sung by his sons.

monument.

The lotus on which the Ramanuja statue will rest will measure 27 feet in diametre. The dimensions are significant - they speak of the 24 tattvas, or principles of creation, with the 25th representing the soul, the 26th god and the 27th signifying the guru.
Ramanujacharya, says Jeeyar, believed that all were equal in the eyes of god and he fought for the equality of all - "not only for humans, but also for the birds, animals, trees and other creatures".
The ‘Statue of Equality’ crafted in China is conceptualised as a tribute to Ramanujacharya’s philosophy and teachings, and its installation will mark the launch of the 1,000th birth anniversary celebrations of the religious guru planned by Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and his religious trust.
“The containers with the individual parts of the statue are reaching Chennai port from China in the next few days. We have created accommodation for about 60 specialist Chinese workers, engineers and welders who will assemble the statue,” says Mr. Suryanarayana.
Nanjing-based Aerosun has shaped 700 tonnes of panchaloha into the gigantic statue of the Bhakti saint, right down to the sagging ear-lobes.

consistency.

Consistency helps keep your direction towards the ideal. All action must direct towards the ideal goal set. its an important facet it helps gain efficiency which gives confidence enhances productivity thus progress is the by product. pursuing a high ideal with consistent effort is of little use if the actions individually are not perfect. The quality of action will depend upon the mind's concentration. so how great the urge to excel depends on your thought. the best way to do this is to constantly remind yourself that you have to give your best in this moment. once you are able to intently concentrate on the work on hand the rest falls into place automatically. have a fixed time its important say you are busy through the day. so you still have the night sacrifice one hour of your sleep you will see wonders happening there is no looking back. the 3 am stint is the best. it has the power to move mountains as it were. it becomes a habit after a time its a fever you would not want to get well of. the hour you will look forward to the addiction you will not give up. the negative too changes to positive here (addiction).

Three sound reflections at this unique temple.

Thenral mamanam kamal Tara add Thiruvellarai ninrane.
Thiruvellarai where the sweet smelling breeze wafts he Perumal is seen standing.
Here we find successors veg reflection of sound. The temple is on the hill at the southern side there is a slab. The temple walls are more than 40 ft high. Th sound uttered on the hill is first reflected back from the straight wall. On the opposite side. The same sound also hits the wall on the right side. Then the sound after hitting the opposite wall is reflected and it hits the wall on the left side this sound can be then heard again by the person who has uttered it. Thus three reflections of the same sound. The best part is the echo does not get weakened by reflection the tone and tenor is maintained in all the three reflected sounds.

detachment.

people view detachment as a dreadful trait. but detachment has a beauty and grandeur of its own. no it is not retirement and resignation. true detachment arises when you harbor a noble idea in life when you pursue a great idea you no longer worried about worldly possessions or relationships, your value for them wanes. you understand  all that the world around you is trifling the bigger picture is of something special the spirit of inward dispassion for things you possess and consider yours is just a fleeting emotion you begin to enjoy them as long as they last cause the bigger brighter picture is something all compassing. how long the pure feeling lasts depends on how strong the drive within is.
No negativity does not exist. desire too is a fleeting trifling sensation. stress does not exist. its like a jigsaw puzzle every thing falls into place. but how does one fuel this grand thought? how long will it remain. how often should it be fueled change happens constantly will it take us towards or away from the grandness. its not easy rather one has to be reminding constantly its easy to slip back to the usual for you have been habituated. a strong desire and a constant reminder is essential this too is God given i suppose / trust.
