 Copenhagen Tivoli gardens. Pictures lost to Picasa.

this photograph is from Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the world's oldest amusement parks.

The album shows one of its roller-coaster attractions, with the distinctive Tivoli name at the top. It is our travel photographs from  European travels.

Tivoli is particularly memorable because it is not just an amusement park—it combines rides, gardens, restaurants, music and beautifully illuminated surroundings right in the heart of Copenhagen. 

I remember clearly we were truly lucky as we stayed close to the Tivoli gardens we were walking to the gardens one foreigner aptoached us asking for direction with a map in his hand as narsims usual nature is to help people he started looking at the map I walked on the other side. We suddenly found he was trying to get us to walk towards the huge building by the bend. It was a large foot path and we had to cross so we were at the kerb. We both sensed some thing was fishy and excused ourself and walked away we then saw he was accompanied by two more hulky guys. God saved us that day sixth sense saved us. That was the only incident in all our very safe foreign tour. 

There is one more in Rome the station we lived close to we were returning from our trip and as we were hungry we were making our way to a restaurants inside the station. It was a dead end type of area as we entered the section we saw a group of local people in a large gang . Some how narsim felt not OK so we decided we will buy veg sandwiches and return to room. That guy packed pork in-between our sandwich for them it's cows so vegetarian .  we threw it away and had a banana each and went to bed. We usually lived on bread butter jam and fruits when ever we went overseas. Breakfast was on the house so cornflakes fruits etc  As we land we hunt for a departmental store and buy the usual bread and accessories. These are the only two times we were near to mishap. lucky for us. We usually combined two three cities other than where the conferences are so got to see lots of places. Singapore twice American cities Philadelphia twice Boston twice. Iowa other cities once. Besides I did not accompany narsim to Japan Vietnam  or Taiwan and one trip to Dubai. Our Australian trip got canceled too.  Missed Spain Poland. Just now pavitra and family went to Spain so got to see it in pictures. No foot ball live matches as narsim wished to see. No regrets we have been lucky indeed.
